Judy Garland was a versatile American actress and singer and was born in Minnesota on 10th June 1922. She was a universally acclaimed star who was bestowed with several prestigious international awards like, Juvenile Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, Cecil B. DeMille Award, Grammy Award and a Special Tony Award. Judy Garland acted in more than 2 dozen films. She got a lot of acclaim for her record-breaking concert appearances as well, particularly Carnegie Hall concert. Some of her renowned films included The Wizard of Oz, Little Nellie Kelly, Meet Me in St. Louis, The Harvey Girls and The Pirate. Judy had 2 daughters, Liza Minnelli and Lorna Luft.

Judy Garland daughter Liza Minnelli was born on March 12, 1946 who just like her mother became a very famous singer and actress. Her father was film director Vincente Minnelli. Liza started her career as a nightclub singer and as an actress in musical theatres. She got a lot of recognition and fame for her work in movies Tell Me That You Love Me, The Sterile Cuckoo, Junie Moon. She rose to international stardom when she got Academy Award for Best Actress for the movie Cabaret.

Minnelli followed on the footsteps of her mother to won 3 Tony Awards, including a Special Tony Award. She also won an Oscar, an Emmy Award, 2 Golden Globes and a Grammy Legend Award.

Lorna Luft was the younger  Judy Garland daughter and was born on November 21, 1952 she also turned out to be a famous television, stage and film actress and singer. She made her television debut at the age of 11 by singing for her mother's series The Judy Garland Show. At age 16 she did a concert with her mom at New York's famous Palace Theater. By the age of 19 she became a well known stage artist. Her famous stage acts included They're Playing Our Song, Peppermint Patty, Guys and Dolls, and Promises, Promises. She is also known for her performance in films, Grease 2, Where the Boys Are '84, 54 and My Giant. In 1998, Lorna made an addition to her versatile career by authoring a book Me and My Shadows: A Family Memoir which won her 5 Emmy Awards. It was not just one of Judy Garland Daughter but both of them showed that they inherited talent from their mother and rose to fame thereby making their famous mother's name immortal.
